This Privacy Policy explains what information QuickMunch collects when you use our ordering platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and to collecting only what we need to run the Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order details when you create an account or place an order. We also collect a limited amount of technical information automatically, such as your device type, browser and the pages you view, so the platform works correctly and stays secure. Payment-method records we store are limited to non-sensitive display details (for example a card brand and the last four digits); we do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to process and deliver your orders, to keep you updated on order status, to provide customer support, to operate and improve the Service, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. With your consent, we may also send you offers and updates; you can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.
4. How we share information
To fulfil your order we share the details a restaurant and courier need (such as your name, order, delivery address and contact number). We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most details directly in your account, or contact us to make a request. We will respond in line with applicable law.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if an issue arises.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
